A FAN IN THE CITY

Hey Cosmo Guy!

When I woke up this morning and went to my favorite tea spot to get some work done, I didn’t think I’de be at the SATC 2 premiere later on, let alone meet SJP and take a picture with her at the after party. I called up my friend Christy and told her to get ready because we’re going to the premiere at Radio City and we WILL get in! We went into a ticket line, met one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met in the entertainment industry and he told us to wait to the side for a few minutes—10 minutes later we had 2 tickets to the premiere  and we were sitting 3rd row center! We had no idea we’d be able to go to the after party at Lincoln Center but we thought we’d give it a try. As soon as we got there, SJP arrived and started taking pictures with fans and signing autographs. I must have ran around the Lincoln Center following her as she made her way through fans behind the barricades. I found a group of women and I told them we should all yell her name and she’ll come to us—sure enough she heard us as was walking towards us but her security kept telling her to go inside—THEN, she made eye contact with me as I yelled her name and waved my phone asking her for “just one picture!” She literally walked right over to me, put her arm around my waist and said “OK, ready?!”—I took the pic, and as you can see I was zoomed in too close! (I’m the guy on the left (her right)—I can’t complain though—I went to the premiere and met/took a half picture with her! BEST NIGHT EVER!
