MEET SAM’S OTHER MAN WhenTaraMetBlog.com: Back at the Global Green Pre-Oscar Party last month, I got to speak with actor Max Ryan, who will be playing “Rikard,” Samantha’s latest love interest in the new Sex and the City 2 movie coming out on May 28. Although I didn’t recognize him from other movies, I liked his style coming down the media line as well as his fashionable leather jacket paired with a black turtleneck. When I heard he was going to be in the latest Sex and the Citymovie I immediately waved him over and was soon captivated by his sexy smile, English accent and light green, hazel colored eyes. The 43-year-old actor is a little bit older than Samantha’s previous guy, Smith (Jason Lewis) who is 39, but obviously still young compared to the 54-year-old actress. You go girl! I asked him about how it was being a guy on the set with so many females around and he said, “It’s good to be a guy (laughs). It’s pretty something else I have to be honest with you. It’s a pretty unique situation to be in, thrust into the delves of these very beautiful women that are extremely powerful.” Although Max wasn’t allowed to talk much about his role in the upcoming movie, he did say his character was from Europe, is an architect and as already mentioned, plays Samantha’s love interest. AIDEN’S RETURN!

To all those Sex and the City fans out there that may have been a Team Aiden girl over Mr. Big, we have some exciting news…Aiden Shaw is back for the sequel. A new trailer of the SATC 2 film debuted at last week’s Showest Film Festival revealed that John Corbett, who starred as Carrie Bradshaw’s lovable beau Aiden will make his return in second film. The pair will however not meet up again in New York but will reunite in Abu Dhabi, where the fab foursome are said to be meeting up with Samantha Jones’ ex-boyfriend Smith. THE LADIES REVEAL SOME SEX SECRETS

MTV.com: Sex and the City 2 film is set to open this May, and so far, only a few details have leaked: Miley Cyrus will have cameo, the ladies will somehow end up in Morocco, and John Corbett’s Aiden may make an appearance. When MTV News caught up with the ladies, minus Kim Cattrall, at ShoWest in Las Vegas this week, we tried to get a few more hints about the story. But Sarah Jessica Parker kept her descriptions “vague” on purpose. Why? “I’m trying to set very low standards,” she joked. But here, at least, is how all fabulous foursome begin their next adventure.

Pictures’ ‘Big Picture 2010’ event as they ready to collect a Best Ensemble award. Meanwhile, the gals are all getting ready for the May 27 release of their hit movie’s sequel - which is directed by Michael Patrick King. Of the amazing popularity that “Sex and the City” has garnered, Miss Nixon recently told Variety that “people have just grown very fond of the characters, the wit of the writing and the glamour and the fashion and all that.” She adds, “One of the things that has kept it so strong is that (writer-director) Michael Patrick King doesn’t try to take us through the same thing because it worked so well the last time. If we stayed the same, going out and drinking and having sex, we would turn into ‘Absolutely Fabulous,’ which is not what we are. He has allowed us to age, and the audience has allowed us to come along for the ride.” Zoom
