INFIDELITY AND THE CITY?

USWeekly.com: Maybe. In Sex and the City 2, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) may cheat on husband Mr. Big (Chris Noth) with ex Aidan Shaw (John Corbett) during a lavish trip to the Middle East — so hinted Corbett during a Monday radio chat for On Air with Ryan Seacrest. ”I can tell you that the girls go to Abu Dhabi,” the actor said of the sequel, out May 27. “And Carrie bumps into old Aidan.” Corbett got coy when Ryan Seacrest asked whether Aidan has a spouse of his own, noting, “Aidan may or may not be married.” The Bradshaw-and-Big union, however, looks shaky in the trailer, Corbett said. “It doesn’t seem like things are going that well in that marriage.” But, hypothetically, Seacrest asked, could Carrie and Aidan hook up again? “Oh yeah! Of course! There’s always that vibe,” Corbett replied. The real-life Mr. Big was just as vague about Carrie’s marriage in an interview with Redbook. Chris Noth calledSATC 2 ”a great look into Carrie and Big’s relationship and what marriage means to them…No matter how long you’ve know someone, marriage changes some things in unexpected ways…And it’s a learning process for Carrie and Big.”

The soundtrack for the much-anticipated Sex and the City 2 will be released on May 25 and there are a few fun surprises! Jennifer Hudson and Leona Lewis sing a duet together. Liza Minnelli covers Beyonce’s chart-topper “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” and Alicia Keys performs her own rendition of the Blondie classic “Rapture.” The soundtrack also features the stars of SATC2 Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, performing the Helen Reddy classic “I Am Woman.” Can’t wait to hear that one!

KIM TALKS SATC 3

Metro.co.uk: Cattrall, aka maneater Samantha Jones, says much depends on the writers but adds: ‘We’ll call time when there are no stories left to tell.’ The 53-year-old tells Grazia that the second instalment is a ‘riotous, crazy romp’. She adds: ‘In these difficult times, people want to have fun.’ But she adds she doesn’t want to overstay their welcome. ‘I’d hate for people to think, ‘‘Oh my god, there’s another one out there’’.’

EOnline.com: Sex and the City has never sounded better. If the trailers for the SATC sequel weren’t enough to drive us bonkers with anticipation for the movie to open next month, wait till you hear the soundtrack. I’ve got the exclusive details on the movie’s soundtrack playlist.  It is full of music superstars and even a handful of original tunes. First up… Alicia Keys performs a cover of Blondie’s 1980s classic “Rapture.” And it’s not just any cover, it’s a mash-up with the iconic Sex and the City theme song that’s played during the movie’s opening theme. I’ve heard a snippet and lemme tell ya, it works. “Rapture” and the SATC theme go together like a frosty cosmo and a pair of Manolo Blahniks. It just feels and sounds so right. Soundtrack label WaterTower Music honcho Jason Linn tells me über-producer Salaam Remi had Keys in mind when he created the mix. “We’re so fortunate to have her,” Linn said. ”She’s the perfect voice to introduce the…music of Sex and the City 2.” Next up is the return of Jennifer Hudson. Nope, the Oscar winner is not reprising her role as Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant, but she is back in song. She and Brit songbird Leona Lewis duet on an original ballad written for the movie called “Love Is Your Color.” Again, we’ve heard a snippet—it’s friggin’ good! Even the stars of the movie are on the soundtrack with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Davis and Cynthia Nixon performing the Helen Reddy karaoke favorite, “I Am Woman.” As you may have already heard, Liza Minnelli covers Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” as well as a new rendition of Cole Porter’s “Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye.” The soundtrack, which also has new music from Dido and Cee Lo, will be released on May 25, just two days before SATC hits theaters.

MTV.com: The Sex and the City 2 trailer is out and we cannot wait for the flick. Or the guys. Or to see what’s next for the girls. But, we have to say if the looks the girls are rocking in the trailer are any indication of how fabulous the girls will look in the flick, then it’s going to be the best movie of 2010. The cobalt blue, rouched dress looks perfectly lovely and feminine on Charlotte as she dishes with Miranda over drinks. What really put it over the edge? That pin!

Miranda does work clothes right. And at a school function for little Brady, her fuchsia belted dress screamed high-powered attorney and super cool mom.

LEONA AND J-HUD SING FOR SEX SEQUEL

Singer Leona Lewis is said to have recorded a duet with singer Jennifer Hudson that could end up being the theme tune for ‘Sex And The City 2′. For Lewis, 25, this is not the first time that she has been featured on the soundtrack of big movies.The pair have recorded the song and it’s being discussed as either the main theme or to feature on the soundtrack,” the Sun quoted a source as saying. “They each have incredible voices and will appeal to both the UK and the US. “It’s perfect for the next SATC film,” the source added.

But never fear, Big Apple fans, we can still make out the heart of the show — New York City — in the glasses Carrie is holding.
